Typhoon Ondoy [September 26, 2009]
As said in the news, this is the second time that the Philippines experienced this massive destruction by a typhoon. The first one lasted for 24 hours. But Typhoon Ondoy only lasted for 6 hours. There were 200+ people who died and many are hurt (sorry if I'm not aware of the exact count, because some were still lost and the rescue team is still finding them). Food reliefs are being delivered to different places that are affected by the said typhoon.
Most affected places:
- Marikina
- Cainta
- San Mateo Rizal
- Pasig Extension
- Bulacan
- Montalban
Please hope and pray that none of these devastating floods will happen ever again.
